How to earn a passive income online

Well, by now everyone should be aware of this. But I decided to write about it because it's an ever-growing subject and this is one of the things that's been hot on the internet for some time.

With the timely growth and expansion of the internet, there is a myriad of ways of earning money online. I will be honest with you. Many of these methods will only give you a passive income. That's why I entitled this post 'how to earn a passive income online'

So let's move straight into it. Note that there are so many methods that I haven't seen yet because there are constantly being invented by people with such creative minds!

1. Blogging

The first method I will talk about it blogging. In short, blogging is the art of creating and maintaining a blog. A blog is a website that is dedicated to publishing articles on a particular subject. Also called a niche website.

A by simply creating a blog and attracting an audience and advertising products using affiliate programs you can make from a passive income to a full income (that is full-time work as a blogger). Depending on your success your income can be anywhere between $10 and $100k per month.

2. Paid Surveys

A survey is simply a set of questions that are given to you to answer usually created by survey companies on the behalf of companies and NGO's that want to get information from consumers or a wide variety of people.

So companies that create these surveys will sometimes reward you for your time. And that's how you make moneyπŸ’². Not all companies (or websites) will give you cash though. Some will reward you with points that you may redeem for cash or other things like entry into a loto or vouchers.

I want to emphasize here that you are most likely not going to make a real income out of surveys. The pay is way too low and sometimes you won't even qualify to take some surveys.

Here are some paid survey companies that I have tried: mobrogSurveywell, Surveycompare,  and paidviewpoint.

Some surveys are only available to certain countries while others are global. I used these because they work in South Africa (where I currently reside at the time of writing of this post).

There are a ton of them out there but these ones have treated me well so I pay them a tribute πŸ˜ƒ.

3. Shortened link sharing

It means that it says. Some websites are dedicated to shortening URL's then paying you a duty if you share it and someone clicks on it.

So if you are on social media like facebook you are most likely familiar with sharing other people's posts. You may have come across some long links like this:

https://www.facebook.com/steve-jobs/10/3/7/the-greatest-invention-of-the-twenty-first-century-that-changed-people-s-lives-for-ever

Here's where URL shortening websites come in. This will that very long website and change it into something like this:

agf.hl

The latter is very compact and looks neater in a post.

Hence, if you use this shortened URL in your share and someone clicks on it, the person will first see an add briefly before being directed to the original link.

And you earn money for just that. Pretty cool huh? 😏

Some URL shortening websites are: adf.ly and wordlinx.com

4. Paid to Click

What do you say being paid in cash just by clicking on links on over the internet? This is one of the easiest ways to earn $$ online. But hopefully, you will discover that the easier the method, the less significant the income you obtain.

It's easy in that you have to click (really that's it; you just click 😏) but the pay is very low because the pay per click is usually of the order of $0.00001 (or less).

One website I have experience using is PaidToClick.in. This particular website also offers other ways of increasing your revenue and through points and ways to buy low-cost traffic to your own blog/website. Visit the website for more info.

Another nice site I have been using is clixsense.com. I can say this is the paradise of finding jobs online because there is a wide variety to choose from. Here you will find surveys, transcription jobs, paid-to-search-the-web and so much more. Of course, it also comes with the referral system which I have found to be a powerful tool when it comes boosting your revenues.

-----

So as mentioned at the start of this post I will be updating this text in the future as I gain experience with other means of making a passive income on the internet.

What do you say? 😎
